Custom Software

Software that fits your workflow.

When Excel, isolated tools or standard software hold you back, I build an application for your specific process.

  • Forms, internal tools and digital approvals
  • Traceable processes with a complete history
  • Operation, updates and security considered from the start

Where I can help

If one of these is on your plate right now.

  • Backups exist, but a restore has never been tested
  • The server or VMware contract is up for renewal
  • Remote access and network should be made more secure
  • Excel files, emails and manual approvals slow down the working day
  • There's no traceable documentation of systems and access
  • An application should map your specific workflow

Discuss your situation

One point of contact, from the infrastructure to the application.

When servers, network and software belong together, nobody should have to mediate between several providers. Applications don't get built past your IT, but with operation, security, updates and handover in mind from the start.

  • No blame game between development and IT operations.
  • Software that fits your existing infrastructure, because I run it myself.
  • Operation, updates and documentation considered from the start, not bolted on afterwards.

The industry calls this DevOps. You don't need to know the term, the benefit is that responsibilities stay unambiguous.

Clear services. Predictable costs.

  • Ongoing care from €149/month. Entry price, for example one server and up to five workstations. The actual scope is agreed together up front.
  • One-off projects at a fixed price agreed in advance. For well-scoped work you get an understandable offer with scope, price, process and date after the initial consultation, before the work begins.
  • Structured project phases for custom software. Larger undertakings are split into traceable stages, so scope, priorities and costs stay transparent.
  • No long contract terms for project work.
  • The documentation stays with you. Systems, access and decisions are documented so you stay independent and someone else can take over if needed.

IT infrastructure analysis

Understand first, then commit to a plan.

Clarity about systems, risks and the next steps.

For unclear or grown IT environments we start with an IT infrastructure analysis at a fixed price. You get an understandable overview, prioritized measures and a recommended path to implementation, as a solid basis for a concrete implementation scope, schedule and project offer.

  • A tightly bounded review scope and a price agreed in advance
  • Prioritized measures instead of a confusing list of defects
  • A basis for a solid implementation offer

In the free initial consultation we clarify whether an analysis is needed and which review scope makes sense.

Discuss an IT infrastructure analysis

How we get to a result, without the hassle.

1

Free initial consultation

You describe your situation and your goal. I tell you openly whether and which next step makes sense.

2

Scope and offer

For ongoing care we agree the right scope. For projects with a fixed scope you get an understandable fixed-price offer.

3

Delivery and clean handover

I deliver, document so it can be followed, and hand over so you don't stay unnecessarily dependent. Optionally I keep looking after it afterwards.

You'll usually get a reply within one business day.

Practice, not PowerPoint.

For over ten years I've been running and securing Linux servers and virtualization environments myself. What I offer clients, I use and test in my own operation: with a segmented network, encrypted backups and documented restores.

  • Over ten years of Linux and server practice
  • Over 35 virtual machines and around 40 containers in my own operation
  • IHK degree as IT specialist for systems integration (expected December 2026)
  • Experience at IT service providers and system houses

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

Ongoing care starts at €149/month, for example one server and up to five workstations. We agree the right scope up front. For one-off, well-scoped projects you get a fixed-price offer with scope, price and process after the initial consultation. For unclear or grown environments we start with an IT infrastructure analysis at a price agreed in advance, before an implementation offer is made. Larger software undertakings are split into traceable phases where needed.

Am I locked into a contract?

Pure projects are one-off engagements with a firmly agreed scope. Ongoing care can be cancelled. I want to convince through reliable work, not through unnecessarily long contract terms.

What happens in an outage or data loss?

For acute issues you reach me directly by phone and I deal with it as a priority. For maintenance clients a fixed response time can be agreed to match the package. As a precaution, tested backups are in place: we verify restores before the emergency and document how they work.

You work alone, what happens if you're unavailable?

Fair question. I document systems and access so they're ready to hand over and someone else can take over in an emergency, instead of hoarding knowledge in my head. On top of that come the tested, off-site backups with verified recovery. So your operation doesn't depend on my presence, and you aren't made artificially dependent.

How do you handle data protection and GDPR?

A data processing agreement (DPA) is part of every engagement. On the infrastructure I run, data is held in German data centers; if you also use cloud services such as Microsoft 365, the storage location follows their terms. Backups are encrypted, access rights are strictly controlled. I work aligned with the German BSI baseline-protection methodology, which is a way of working, not a certification.

Do you see our data when maintaining our systems?

To maintain your IT I need access to systems, not to your content. I work on configuration, structure and scripts. Your actual data (database contents, documents, emails) stays on your systems. If a specific task genuinely requires real data, it only happens by arrangement, documented, and under the data processing agreement.

Will I understand what's being done?

Yes, that's part of the job. No jargon, everything documented in writing and explained so you can pass it on to your team.

Do you use AI for development?

Yes, as a tool for routine work. Architecture, security, review and responsibility stay with me. Your confidential content is not simply fed into public AI services.
